Function & Application

The DS200TCDAH1B is a digital input/output board for the General Electric Mark V control system. Its primary function is to process digital contact input signals received from the DTBA and DTBB terminal boards, as well as relay and solenoid signals originating from two TCRA boards. The DS200TCDAH1B board receives contact input signals from the DTBA and DTBB terminal boards via the JR and JQ connectors; the onboard circuitry then conditions and time-stamps these signals before transmitting them—via the JX1 (or JX2) connector—to the IONET network, as well as to the TCQC board and the CTBA terminal board. The DS200TCDAH1B board features eight hardware jumpers. Jumpers J1 and JS are reserved for factory testing; J2 and J3 are used to configure the IONET termination resistors; J4, J5, and J6 are used to set the board's unique IONET ID; and J7 is used to enable the watchdog timer.

 

TCDA Connectors

  • JP — Distributes power supplied by the TCPS boards located within the <R1>, <R2>, and <R5> cores to the <Q11>, <Q21>, and <Q51> cores, respectively.
  • JQ — Connects to the JQR socket on the DTBA board, transmitting contact input signals from the DTBA board to the TCDA board.
  • JR — Connects to the JRR socket on the DTBB board, transmitting contact input signals from the DTBB board to the TCDA board.
  • J01 — Transmits contact output signals to the TCRA board located at position 4.
  • J02 — Transmits contact output (relay/solenoid) signals to the TCRA board located at position 5.
  • JX1 / JX2 — Used for transmitting IONET signals via shielded twisted-pair cabling. The TCDA board located within the <Q11> core transmits signals to the JX2 connection point on the TCEA board located at position 5 within the <P1> core. The TCDA board located within the <Q51> core transmits signals to the JX connection point on the CTBA terminal board located within the <R5> core.
