The DS200SLCCG3A is a LAN communication card within the General Electric Mark V control system, primarily designed to provide network and communication interfaces for the main processor. Together with the DS200SDCCG4A main control board, the DS200SLCCG3A communication card forms the complete DS215GASCG4AZZ01A assembly; the SLCC communication card is typically mounted directly onto the SDCC main control board. This comprehensive control and communication system is utilized within the Mark V framework to regulate the speed, load, and temperature of generator sets. The communication card is responsible for receiving remote control commands from host systems and for promptly relaying real-time operational status data—transmitted by the DS200SDCCG4A main control board—back to those host systems.
The DS200SLCCG3A communication card features an embedded LAN control processor capable of independently handling local area network communication protocols. It conveys commands from host systems—such as DCS and SCADA—to the main processor, and subsequently transmits the main processor's feedback back to the host systems, thereby ensuring that the main controller can remain fully dedicated to its core control functions. Furthermore, the card is equipped with on-board dual-port RAM, enabling data transmission and exchange to be executed in real-time at extremely high speeds. |
