The DS200CTBAG1A is an analog terminal board in the Mark V LM turbine control system. It is primarily used for monitoring the mechanical status of the turbine via 4-20 mA inputs and outputs, as well as shaft voltage and current connections. It also provides a communication platform for various controllers and input/output modules within the system. The DS200CTBAG1A analog terminal module is located in the <R5> core. The CTBA analog terminal board is required for IONET connections on the STCA board, COREBUS connections on the QTBA board on <R1>, and connections to the Mark V LM power monitoring TCPD board.

 

DS200CTBAG1A Analog Terminal Board Communication and Hardware Configuration:

  • 8PL - Transmits IONET signals to the STCA board in the <R5> core.
  • JAA - Transmits the 4-20 mA output from the TCCA board in the <R5> core to the CTBA.
  • JAA - Used for COREBUS connections; if not used, a terminating resistor should be connected.
  • JAJ - Used for COREBUS connection; a terminating resistor should be connected if not used.
  • JBB - Transmits 4-20 mA inputs, along with shaft voltage and current signals, to the TCCA board in the <R5> core.
  • JEE - Communicates COREBUS signals with the STCA board in the <R5> core.
  • JPD - Transmits the 24 V DC power signal from the TCPD board in the <PD> core to the CTBA.
  • JX - Communicates IONET signals with the TCDA board in the <Q51> core.
  • 6PL - Normally not used.
  • BJ1 to BJ14 - Connect the negative terminal (NEG) of the corresponding mA input to the DCOM.
  • BJ15 - Connects the RS232 monitoring port (TIMN) to the DCOM.

 

Application Cases and Experience

  1. Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine Power Generation: In power plants, the DS200CTBAG1A terminal board can be used to collect signals such as fuel valve position feedback and exhaust temperature, transmitting them to the main control system for managing turbine start-up and shutdown, load regulation, and emergency shutdown.

Oil and Gas Compressor Units: In the control systems of compressor units in the petrochemical industry, the DS200CTBAG1A terminal board can be used to connect bearing temperature and vibration sensors to monitor mechanical health in real time and prevent equipment damage caused by overheating or strong vibration.
