The GE Speedtronic EX2100e 151X1235BC01SA01 is an integrated 10-slot Ethernet switch/communication backplane module, composed of a Microprocessor-Based General Purpose Controller Standalone (UCSB) and a compact High-Speed ​​Serial Link Extension (CSLA) board. It can be applied to main control systems of gas turbines or steam turbines, distributed I/O, or expansion racks. The core functions of the 151X1235BC01SA01 module are as follows:

  1. Ethernet Switching Function: The 10-port Ethernet switch connects various controllers (UCSBs), engineering workstations, operator workstations (HMIs), and other Ethernet-enabled devices within the EX2100e rack (such as vibration monitoring systems, third-party PLCs, etc.). This switch enables efficient data communication within the control system and between the control system and higher-level plant control systems.
  2. UCSB (Microprocessor-Based General Purpose Controller): The UCSB controller within the switch is primarily responsible for executing the actual control logic. The 151X1235BC01SA01 module provides a physical mounting slot and electrical interface for the UCSB controller. A rack typically contains multiple UCSBs, each responsible for different functions such as speed control, temperature control, sequence control, and protection. Through the backplane of this module, the UCSB can access I/O module data at high speed and communicate peer-to-peer with other UCSBs.
  3. CSLA (Compact High-Speed ​​Serial Link Extension) Board Interface: The CSLA board is a dedicated module for high-speed inter-rack communication. This module integrates a CSLA interface, allowing multiple EX2100e racks to be connected into a synchronously redundant control network via fiber optic or coaxial cables at extremely high speed and extremely low latency.
