ABB DSAI 130A 3BSE018292R1 is a 16-channel Analog Input Board. As a member of S100 I/O Modules, it is designed for Advant MOD 300 DCS, mainly for Advant Controller 410 and Advant Controller 460.

The modules are equipped with one or more connection units with removable screw terminals for connecting process cables individually or in groups. The connection units for analog input modules also incorporate current shunts, enabling module replacement without interrupting the current loop. This allows newly inserted modules to be operational within 10 seconds. The modules are equipped with LED indicators to indicate the successful completion of each A/D conversion. Diagnostics are provided during system startup and normal operation, with any detected faults indicated by LED indicators and reported to the operator station.

Application

S100 I/O & Advant Controller

The S100 I/O system consists of I/O modules with 4 to 32 channels, depending on type, which are placed in the I/O subracks. S100 I/O consists of one or more I/O racks with several I/O boards, connection units and cables covering a wide variety of applications and specific needs. The I/O boards are divided into groups, depending on their function. Within each group, there are several I/O boards with differing functionality and complexity. The Advant 460 controller can accommodate up to 20 I/O boards per I/O subrack; the Advant 410 controller supports up to 15 I/O boards and is not expandable. A is a type of I/O board in this configuration.

The I/O Series 100 can be connected to the following power sources:
• 120/230 VAC, 50/60 Hz
• 24/48 V DC (via a DC/DC converter), providing electrical isolation between the power supply line and the I/O Series 100.
• 24 V DC (without a DC/DC converter) is grounded within the I/O Series 100 cabinet.
