The AE119 800-119-000-025 is a housing expansion probe from Meggitt, primarily used to measure the absolute expansion of all thermomechanical equipment caused by temperature changes. The AE119 sensor offers a measurement range of 50 mm or 100 mm and is suitable for medium to large-sized gas turbines and steam turbines. The sensor is an integrated processing electronics based on the eddy current principle, with an IP54 splash-proof rating, making it suitable for applications requiring waterproof equipment, such as marine and maritime applications.
The AE119 800-119-000-025 sensor operates on the eddy current principle, with wear-free operation. Its processing electronics are integrated within the support structure and require a 20 to 32 VDC power supply to generate an output signal proportional to the measured absolute expansion. The sensor uses two-wire current transmission technology. The output current ranges from 4 to 20 mA, reaching its maximum when the probe is fully retracted.
