The DeltaV VE5009 KJ1501X1-BC3 DC/DC system power supply powers the DeltaV controller and I/O interfaces from a 12V or 24V high-power DC supply. It can be mounted in a power supply/controller bracket next to the controller and provides the controller with the required 5V and 3.3V DC power. It also provides 12V DC power to the I/O interfaces and can deliver up to 8 amps when powered by a 24V high-power DC supply. The modular architecture and load-balancing function of the power supply can increase power or provide power redundancy for the system. The power module consistently and accurately outputs 12V or 5V DC power, and the power supply complies with EMC and CSA standards. The KJ1501X1-BC3 module system automatically detects and records undervoltage and overvoltage conditions to protect the controller and I/O subsystems, and automatically cold restarts the controller in the event of a high-power power failure. In the event of a power failure, the internal relay output state changes and an alarm is issued to the user. In addition, LED indicators on the KJ1501X1-BC3 power supply housing also display the power status. The system and field power supplies are completely isolated.
The DeltaV VE5009 KJ1501X1-BC3 DC/DC system power supply is plug-and-play and can be installed in any power slot of any DeltaV power/controller carrier. The power supply is rail-mounted and compatible with any power carrier board, including 2-width horizontal and 4-width vertical boards. These carrier boards include an internal power bus that connects to the controller and I/O interfaces, allowing easy mounting on T-type DIN rails without external cables. The power/controller carrier contains an internal power bus, allowing connection of the system power to the DeltaV controller and I/O interface carrier without the need for external cables. |
