The IS200JPDDG1A is a DC power distribution board utilized within the GE Mark VI Speedtronic gas and steam turbine control systems. Its primary function is to safely and stably distribute the DC power output from the main power supply module to various system components, such as I/O modules and controllers.
The IS200JPDDG1A is capable of splitting a single-channel input—accepting 24V, 48V, or 125V DC power—into multiple output channels, thereby simultaneously powering multiple downstream devices. The distribution board is equipped with 12 fuses, ensuring that each output channel features independent overcurrent protection. In the event of a fault within a specific branch circuit, the corresponding fuse will blow, thereby preventing the fault from propagating and causing a complete system power outage. Furthermore, the IS200JPDDG1A power distribution board features six toggle switches, allowing for the independent control of each output channel; this enables the power supply to specific modules to be cut off without the need to disconnect any wiring, thereby facilitating the troubleshooting of individual modules. Additionally, the board is fitted with six onboard LED indicators used to display the power status of each individual output channel. Within the GE Mark VI system architecture, the power distribution link typically employs a hierarchical distribution scheme; this design ensures that even if a short circuit occurs in a specific I/O module, the power supply to the core PDM module and other critical protection circuits remains unaffected. |
