The CMC16 200-530-025-014 is a condition-monitoring card for the Meggitt VM600 series condition-monitoring system. Equipped with an intelligent front-end data acquisition unit (DAU), it works in conjunction with the VM600 CMS software to acquire and analyze data, transmitting results to the host via a CPUM Ethernet control card or a direct serial link. The CMC16 includes 16 configurable tracking anti-aliasing filters and an analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The onboard processor handles all acquisition control, time-domain-to-frequency-domain conversion, bandwidth extraction, unit conversion, limit checks, and communication with the host system. The CMC16 also employs adaptive monitoring technology, dynamically adjusting alarm setpoints based on real-time parameters such as machine speed and load. Machine startup, shutdown, and overspeed can be detected by comparing speed reference values with configured trigger levels. In transient mode, higher-density recording can be performed based on configurable time and speed intervals. Vibration measurement and recording speed ranges from 15 rpm to 30,000 rpm.
The CMC16 200-530-025-014 status monitoring card accepts input signals representing speed, phase reference, vibration (acceleration, velocity, or displacement), dynamic pressure, air gap rotor and pole profile, any dynamic signal, or any quasi-static signal. The onboard processor processes these signals and converts them to any standard for display. These input signals can be received from the MPC4 mechanical protection card via the VM600's raw and speed buses, or externally via terminal connectors on the IOC16T. The IOC16T module also provides signal conditioning and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) protection and allows input signals to be routed to the CMC16.
