Function
1. Temperature signal acquisition: The IS220PRTDH1A supports up to 8 RTD sensor inputs, which can be expanded to 16 channels when used with the TRTD terminal board.
2. Transmission of temperature data to the control system.
3. Signal conditioning and isolation: The IS220PRTDH1A converts low-level RTD resistance signals into digital signals recognizable by the control system and provides electrical isolation.
Note: While the PRTD module can connect to redundant networks, the module itself does not support a redundant architecture; it operates only in simplex mode.

The TRTDH1D provides standard filtering and matches the PRTD's standard scan rate, making it better suited for stable temperature monitoring in environments with interference. Using the TRTDH2D results in an "incompatible PRTD version" error, limiting functionality.
2. Does the PRTD support redundant configuration?
—No, the IS220PRTDH1A supports only Simplex I/O module operation.
3. What are the applications for the IS220PRTDH1A?
—It can be used for gas turbine exhaust and bearing temperature monitoring, or in the power industry for monitoring generator winding temperatures and cooling system temperatures.
