Structure and Function
The IS200ERSCG1A is essentially a power conversion module containing six IGBT inverter modules. Two of these IGBTs generate the PWM DC output required for field excitation, while a third IGBT discharges the DC bus capacitors into an external dynamic discharge resistor. The input power source can be rectified AC, DC from a battery, or a combination of both.
