Function & Application

The ABB IOR810 gateway module is primarily used to connect SymphonyPlus SD and HR series controllers and S800 I/O. The IOR810 gateway module integrates S800 I/O as part of the Symphony Plus/Harmony control system and features Event Sequencing (SOE) functionality. The IOR810 connects the HN800 I/O bus (electrical or fiber optic interface) to an existing S800 I/O Modulebus (fiber optic interface only). Its core function is to scan for S800 I/O modules and provide this information to the Symphony Plus controller via the HN800. The IOR810 can connect to and scan up to seven S800 trunking modems via the fiber optic module bus. Each trunking modem can support up to twelve S800 I/O modules. The IOR810 receives configuration information from the Symphony Plus controller, which uses standard Symphony Plus function codes to specify S800 I/O data. It handles input and output, analog and digital signal types, pulse counters, and event sequence (SOE) data acquisition.
