The EC318 922-318-000-002 is a cable assembly manufactured by Meggitt, primarily used to connect vibration sensors to back-end monitoring systems. The EC318 922-318-000-002 is the standard version, equipped with a 2-pin MIL-C/DTL-5015 connector and a RADOX® 125 two-conductor cable; the EC318 922-318-000-403 includes a protective sleeve in addition to the features of the 002 version. When ordering the EC318, the cable length must be specified.
Main Functions
1. Transmits 4–20 mA current or other vibration signals collected by the sensor
2. The EC318 uses RADOX®-insulated K219 cable (outer diameter approx. 4.8 mm), a 2-conductor shielded cable that reduces electromagnetic interference and improves signal transmission accuracy
3. Compatible sensors are as follows:
- AE219 housing expansion probe
- CE620 piezoelectric accelerometer with integrated electronics
- CE630 piezoelectric accelerometer with integrated electronics
- CE687 piezoelectric accelerometer with integrated electronics
- PV660 piezoelectric velocity sensor
- PV685 piezoelectric velocity sensor
