The DS200DTBAG1A is a contact input terminal board within the Mark V control system. Its primary function is to acquire signals from field devices and transmit them to the control system, while also providing an electrical interface for the control system and its associated I/O modules. The DTBA terminal board is located at positions <Q11>, <Q21>, and <Q51>; it connects the first 46 contact inputs to the TCDA board. By configuring the input signals for inversion within the TCDA, these inputs can be endowed with fail-safe contact input functionality. The DS200DTBAG1A terminal board features an ON delay of ≤0.5 ms and an OFF delay of ≤0.25 ms, enabling extremely rapid signal detection. Furthermore, it provides 190 wiring terminals, allowing for the centralized connection of a large volume of field digital signals—such as valve positions, pressure switch states, and relay statuses—to the control system, thereby simplifying field wiring. The terminal board incorporates fail-safe capabilities; should an open-circuit fault occur in the field, the system will recognize this as a triggered state and activate the appropriate protection functions. Onboard jumpers BJ1 through BJ5 are provided to isolate the contact input signals from the 125 VDC power supply during testing, thereby protecting critical system circuitry from electrical interference. CTBA Connections and Hardware Configuration JQR - Connects the contact inputs to the TCDA board. J12 - Receives the 125 VDC power input from the TCPD board located at position <PD>. JY - Transmits the 125 VDC power supply to the DTBB board. JQS/T - Typically not used. BJ1 through BJ5 - Used to isolate the contact input signals from the 125 VDC power supply during testing. Application Cases and Experience Turbine Emergency Trip Protection: In the control systems for gas turbines or steam turbines—such as the 7EA and 9E models—the DS200DTBAG1A contact input terminal board is utilized to acquire critical safety signals. These signals include inputs from low lube oil pressure switches, generator outlet limit switches, and emergency trip valve status monitors. When abnormal parameters are detected, the board transmits these signals to the main control system with extreme speed, facilitating the immediate execution of a turbine trip and the closure of fuel valves, thereby ensuring the safety of the equipment. Power Plant TMR Safety Configuration: In power plant applications, the DS200DTBAG1A can be configured as a redundant system for overspeed protection signals. By utilizing a "2-out-of-3" voting mechanism to generate output results, this configuration enables the timely monitoring of mechanical equipment status while simultaneously minimizing losses caused by erroneous shutdowns resulting from inaccurate speed measurements.
