The CA280 144-280-000-015 is a piezoelectric accelerometer suitable for vibration monitoring and measurement applications requiring high sensitivity and low base strain. This sensor employs a two-wire measurement element with an AISI 316L stainless steel housing and an insulating outer sheath. The CA280 144-280-000-015 is available as a standalone sensor or with an integrated low-noise cable. This cable is sealed and protected by a flexible stainless steel conduit and connected via leads; various cable lengths are available. All versions of the CA280 are Ex-certified and can be installed in potentially explosive atmospheres (hazardous areas). In field environments, it can be used with the IPC707 signal conditioner and the GSI127 electrochemical separation unit.
The CA280 144-280-000-015 has a measurement sensitivity of 100 pC/g, a measurement range of up to 500 g, a response frequency of 0.5 to 6000 Hz, and can operate for extended periods over an ultra-wide temperature range of −60 to 260 °C. |
