Its main function is to convert the externally input 48VDC standard industrial voltage into the specific operating voltage required by the various internal control and communication modules of the ETL600 system. In addition, to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the ETL600 system in harsh industrial environments, the B5LD SR91H520 power module integrates multiple powerful protection functions. These include inrush current limiting, overload/overcurrent/short circuit protection, overheat protection, and input reverse connection protection, effectively isolating external power fluctuations and faults, thereby protecting the delicate communication and control circuit components at the downstream end. It is mainly used in remote substations/transmission lines to establish efficient communication links. The ETL600 system is designed as a modular system, mainly comprising: Interface modules for connecting communication, protection devices, remote control, and other equipment within the substation; a digital processing module for digitizing and encoding the collected information and modulating it into a low-frequency signal suitable for transmission over power lines; a radio frequency (RF) conversion module for converting the processed low-frequency signal into a high-frequency (RF) signal suitable for long-distance transmission over high-voltage power lines; a power amplification and filtering module for amplifying the RF signal to ensure its transmission to the target site and filtering out interference to guarantee signal quality; and power supply modules, such as the B5LD SR91H520 power supply module, for providing a stable DC operating voltage to all modules in the system.
