AMC8/IOC8T

The AMC8 analog monitoring card is available in two models: “Standard” and “Discrete Circuit”; both require a corresponding IOC8T input/output card to work together as a card pair. The AMC8 card is installed at the front of the VM600 rack, while the IOC8T input/output card is installed at the rear and connects directly to the rack backplane via two connectors. The configuration of the AMC8/IOC8T card combination can be performed via the RS-232 port located on the front panel of the AMC8 card; Alternatively, the AMC8 card can be accessed and configured via the VME bus using the CPUx card located in Slot 0 of the VM600 rack. The AMC8 card can drive the four local relays on the IOC8T card, or it can use the VM600 rack’s bus to drive any relay on the RLC16 card.
