The PM858K02 3BSE082896R1 is an ABB AC 800M Controller. The CPU board includes a microprocessor and RAM, a real-time clock, LED indicators, an initialization button, and a CompactFlash interface. The PM858 controller's baseboard has two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1, CN2) for connecting to the control network, and two RJ45 serial ports (COM3, COM4). One serial port (COM3) is an RS-232C port used for transmitting modem control signals; the other serial port (COM4) is isolated and used to connect configuration tools. The controller supports CPU redundancy to improve availability (CPU, CEX bus, communication interface, and S800 I/O). A unique sliding locking mechanism allows for easy installation/removal from the DIN rail. All baseboards provide a unique Ethernet address to identify the hardware of each CPU. This address is located on the Ethernet address label on the TP830 baseboard. Software compatibility is only with System 800xA 6.0.2, Compact Control Builder 6.0.0-1, and later versions.
