The KJ1501X1-BC1 is an Emerson dual-channel DC/DC power supply module designed for the DeltaV DCS. It is primarily used to regulate and distribute power to the DeltaV system’s I/O, controllers, communication modules, and other components.

1. Voltage Conversion and Regulation: The KJ1501X1-BC1 converts an external 12/24 VDC power supply into a stable low-voltage logic current, providing electrical isolation between the input and internal modules.

—When a single input fails, the module automatically switches to the second input to continue power supply, so system power will not be affected in the short term; however, if the faulty module is not replaced promptly, the module’s key feature—redundancy protection—is lost, and a significant single-point failure risk remains.
