Function & Details

General Electric IS220PDIOH1A is a Discrete Input/Output Module. The PDIO assembly provides an electrical interface between a single or dual I/O Ethernet network and discrete I/O terminal blocks. This assembly consists of a processor board compatible with all Mark VIe distributed I/O assemblies and an acquisition board dedicated to discrete I/O functions.

 

 

This assembly accepts up to 24 contact inputs, controls up to 12 relay outputs, and receives terminal block-specific feedback signals. The associated terminal block determines the voltage tolerance of the PDIO. System connections to the assembly are via dual RJ45 Ethernet connectors and a three-pin power input. Discrete signal input/output is provided via a DC-62 connector that connects directly to the associated terminal block connector. Visual diagnostics are provided via LED indicators, and local diagnostic serial communication is available via an infrared port. The PDIO functions as a single assembly combining the PDIA and PDOA I/O assemblies.

 

Application

For simplex applications, it mounts on a TDBS terminal block, which is equivalent to a combination of the SRLY relay terminal block and the STCI contact input terminal block. For TMR applications, it is mounted on the TDBT terminal board, which, together with the WROB option, is equivalent to the combination of the TRLYH1B relay terminal board and the TBCI contact input terminal board.
