Function & Application

The IS215UCVEM06A is a single-slot VME controller card for the GE Mark VI gas turbine control system, featuring an onboard high-speed processor. Its core functions are communication and control, primarily handling Ethernet and ISBus communication to ensure efficient and stable operation of the turbine and related processes. The IS215UCVEM06A provides Ethernet connectivity, enabling high-speed data exchange with other controllers, operator stations, or higher-level management systems within the Mark VI system. The control board is equipped with two ISBus interfaces for dedicated buses to expand input/output modules. Through these interfaces, the UCVEM06A card can connect to and control remote I/O substations, acquiring field sensor signals and outputting control signals. The card employs a compact single-slot VME architecture, directly inserting into a standard slot in the VME chassis for easy integration and maintenance.

 

The IS215UCVEM06A can be used in various power plants to control the operation of gas turbines, steam turbines, and combined-cycle generator sets, handling critical tasks such as fuel control, speed regulation, load distribution, and grid connection control. It can also be applied to scenarios such as long-distance oil and natural gas pipelines, large compressor stations, and blower stations to drive and control the operation of large turbine machinery.
