The IS200ERIOH1A is an excitation regulator I/O board used in GE EX2100 and Mark VI control systems. Its primary function is to provide system I/O interfacing for regulator control systems in both simplex and redundant configurations.
Functions
1. Customer I/O Interface: The IS200ERIOH1A board processes customer I/O signals from the field via EPCT and ECTB terminal boards. These include field signals such as generator voltage and current feedback, discrete inputs/outputs, and protection interlocks.
2. System I/O Interface: The IS200ERIOH1A also facilitates signal interconnection between various internal system boards, specifically:
- Connections to the ERDD excitation regulator interface and dynamic discharge board, handling system signals such as rectifier bridge triggering and dynamic braking;
- Connections to the EROC excitation regulator option card, handling I/O for additional optional functions;
3. Support for Simplex/Redundant Modes: Redundant configurations require three IS200ERIOH1A boards working in concert.
