The IS200EBKPG1C is an exciter backplane component within General Electric's Ex2100e excitation control system. Its primary functions are to house the excitation control boards, provide structural backplane support, and accommodate the connectors required for attaching cables to the input/output (I/O) terminal boards. The diagram below clearly identifies the specific boards and devices to which the various cables connect. 
The IS200EBKPG1CAA features three distinct zones, corresponding to controllers M1, M2, and C, respectively. Each zone is equipped with its own independent power supply. Zones M1 and M2 house the ACLA, DSPX, EISB, EMIO, and ESEL boards, while Zone C accommodates the DSPX, EISB, and EMIO boards. Two top-mounted fans are responsible for dissipating heat from these controllers. The upper section of the IS200EBKPG1C backplane features DIN connectors designed for the insertion of control boards, while the lower section contains D-SUB connectors for connecting I/O interface cables, as well as circular DIN connectors for keyboard interface cables, power plugs, and test loops.
