The IS200EAUDH1A is a high-speed contactor driver board designed for the GE EX2100/EX2100e excitation control system; its primary function is to provide high-speed drive control for critical contactors within the generator excitation circuit.
In practical applications, the Mark VI or EX2100 control system issues control commands, which are routed to the IS200EAUDH1A driver board via the IS200BPVCG1BR1 backplane. The driver board subsequently amplifies and electrically isolates these control signals, thereby actuating its seven onboard high-speed relays to output high-power control signals—such as 125 VDC or 24 VDC—to drive contactors, field discharge switches, and excitation equipment. Furthermore, signals regarding the contact status of the onboard relays, coil faults, and other parameters are transmitted back to the control system via a feedback circuit, enabling self-diagnosis of the driver circuit. | |
