When paired with the TQ 422 or TQ 432 non-contact sensors, the IQS 452 signal conditioner forms a calibrated proximity system where each component is interchangeable. This proximity system measures the relative displacement of moving mechanical components, outputting a voltage or current proportional to the distance between the sensor tip and the target (e.g., a machine shaft).
