Function & Application

The 9200-01-01-10-00 is the Bently Nevada 9200 Seismoprobe dual-wire velocity sensor, primarily used to measure the absolute vibration of bearing housings, shells, or structures relative to free space. The 9200 dual-wire system consists of the sensor and its matching cable. The 9200-01-01-10-00 velocity sensor employs a dual-wire design and moving-coil technology, providing a voltage output proportional to the sensor's vibration velocity. Compared to solid-state velocity sensors, the 9200 series moving-coil sensors are less sensitive to shock or pulse excitation, require no external power supply, and are suitable for portable measurement applications. When used with test or diagnostic instruments, this sensor can perform continuous monitoring and periodic measurements. The 9200 also exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, requiring no additional protection. The 74712 sensor is a high-temperature version of the 9200.
