Function & Details	The 81EU01E-E GJR2391500R1210 is an ABB Procontrol Input Module for pulse counters. It is used to count pulses from pulse generators and various types of transmitters. The module contains 16 functional units. Each functional unit can be used for any input mode and in any combination. Parameter assignment and settings are easily programmed using a configuration list. Programmed values are stored in EEPROM, ensuring they are not lost during power failure. These values can be changed at any time. Up to four limit values can be assigned to each analog signal. The module can be plugged into any station of the PROCONTROL bus system. It integrates a standard interface for the PROCONTROL station bus. The module transmits input signals and/or converted input signals in the form of telegrams via the station bus to the PROCONTROL bus system. Interference suppression measures are implemented between the module's functional units and the station bus. Each functional unit is equipped with a short-circuit-proof and monitored transmitter power supply, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. If the internal monitoring circuit or the input signal monitor responds, the interference signal ST (general interference) is displayed on the module front panel. A response from the internal monitoring circuit is indicated on the module front panel as the interference signal SG (module interference).

Binary Transmitters - Single and changeover contacts with or without line monitor-Inductive initiators acc. to NAMUR DIN 19234 - Electronic transmitters 2. Analog transmitters for current signals - Twin-wire transducers 4 ... 20 mA supplied from the input module - 4-wire transducers 0 ... 20 mA, 4 ... 20 mA and 0...5 mA with external power source 3. Temperature transducers - Thermocouples with transducers for current signals of 420 mA and cold junctions inside the transducer.
