Function & Application

The 330709-00-060-10-02-05 is a Bently Nevada 3300 XL 11 mm Probe, M16 x 1.5 thread, without armor. The 3300 XL 11 mm proximity sensor system features a 3.94V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for non-contact vibration and displacement measurement of hydrodynamic bearing equipment. Compared to the standard 3300 XL 8 mm sensor system, the larger 11 mm probe provides a longer linear measurement range. It is primarily used in applications requiring a longer linear range:

  • Axial (thrust) position measurement
  • Steam turbine ramp differential pressure measurement
  • Reciprocating compressor piston rod position or piston rod drop measurement
  • Tachometer and zero-speed measurement
  • Phase reference (keyer) signals.

 

The 3300 XL 11 mm proximity sensor system includes: a 3300 XL 11 mm probe, a 3300 XL 11 mm extension cable, and a 3300 XL 11 mm proximity sensor. The 3300 XL 11 mm proximity sensor is designed to replace the 7200 series 11 mm and 14 mm sensor systems. When upgrading from the 7200 series system to the 3300 XL 11 mm system, all components must be replaced with 3300 XL 11 mm components. In addition, the monitoring system must also be updated.
