The 286566-01 is a Bently Nevada 3500/54M Overspeed Detection Module. The 3500 Series overspeed detection system offers a highly reliable, fast-response redundant tachometer system designed specifically for use as part of an overspeed protection system. The overspeed protection module is a safety control device that continuously collects speed signals in real time and converts them into a processable electrical signal. The real-time speed is then compared with a preset "danger value," and if the speed exceeds the danger value, the protection mechanism is immediately triggered. It is widely used for the protection of large machinery such as steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, expanders, and engine sets (hydropower, thermal power, wind power). |
