1. Only one power supply channel is functioning normally. How should this be resolved?
—This may be due to a loose connection in one of the channels or a fault in the corresponding RPS6U power supply module itself (e.g., a red warning light on the module). Measure the voltage at both sets of test terminals. If the voltage at the rear panel is normal but there is no output from the front RPS6U, the fault may lie with the backplane connector or the RPS6U module itself. Please remove the module for inspection or replacement.
2. What should you check before installation?
—First, carefully verify the power supply type and specifications before installation. Ensure that the RPS6U being used is the DC input version; only then will the DC power input connector on the rear panel be compatible. Do not mix AC and DC versions. Second, verify that the panel labels (RPS6U-Slot 18, RPS6U-Slot 15) strictly correspond to the actual installation slots in the rack to prevent accidental disconnection or power interruption caused by mislabeled slots. When wiring, strictly distinguish between the +, -, and ⏚ terminals. Use a multimeter to verify the polarity of the power cable before connecting to avoid burning out the module due to reverse polarity.
