The 125768-01 is a Bently Nevada 3500/20 Rack Interface Module (RIM) I/O module with RS232/RS422 interfaces. The 125768-01 I/O module provides an important communication interface for the Bently 3500/20 Rack Interface Module, facilitating data communication between the 3500/20 interface module and other 3500 modules as well as external devices. As a crucial interface module for the 3500 rack, the 125768-01 I/O module, through its RS232/RS422 serial port, can transmit data collected by various monitoring modules within the rack (such as vibration, displacement, and speed sensors) to a PLC/DCS or other host computer in real time. In addition to supporting Bently's proprietary Modbus RTU/ASCII protocols, the 125768-01 I/O module can also be integrated with third-party systems. The 125768-01 I/O module supports redundant configuration and hot-swapping, making installation convenient and replacement unaffected by system malfunctions.
The 3500/20 Rack Interface Module (RIM) is the primary interface for the Bently Nevada 3500 rack and must be located in Slot 1 (next to the power supply) to configure the rack and retrieve device information. The 125768-01 I/O module provides one type of interface. The RIM supports compatible Bently Nevada external communication processors such as TDXnet, TDIX, and DDIX. One RIM is required per rack. The 3500/20 Rack Interface Module can be configured for redundant applications, requiring the TMR version of the RIM (125744-01). The TMR RIM performs monitoring channel comparisons, using settings specified in the monitoring options to implement monitoring voting, continuously comparing the outputs of three redundant monitors to detect interface module failures. |
