The TU830V1 is a modular terminal block in ABB's S800 I/O series, used to connect field wiring to various input/output modules, providing field interfaces and support. The module also includes a ModuleBus component. The TU830V1 terminal block supports up to 16 I/O channels and two process voltage connections, with each channel having two I/O connections and one zero-point (ZP) connection. The TU830V1's process voltages can be connected to two independent, isolated groups. Each group is equipped with a 6.3 A fuse. The maximum rated voltage per channel is 50 V, and the maximum rated current is 2 A. The TU830V1 MTU allocates the ModuleBus to the I/O module, which then passes it to the next MTU. It also generates the correct I/O module address by shifting the output position signal to the next MTU.
