Function & Details	ABB SD822 is a Power Supply Unit. This power supply is primarily intended for powering AC 800M controllers connected to the industrial grid in Class III installations and can be used in both non-redundant and redundant applications. The power supply is designed as a switch-mode power converter, converting the AC mains voltage to a regulated 24V DC output. Rated output capacity: • SD823 = 24V regulated DC @ 10A • SD822 = 24V regulated DC @ 5A • SD821 = 24V regulated DC @ 2.5A The power supply input voltage can be set to 115V or 230V using a switch mounted on the device's surface. The factory default position is 230V. A green LED on the front panel indicates that the output circuit is providing the correct output voltage level. Dual connectors on the 24V DC output terminals allow for the connection of multiple devices. Inrush current limiters within the PSU circuitry provide a soft-start function. Therefore, controlled power-up of the PSU does not trip fuses or ground-fault circuit breakers. The basic power supply unit has a protective conductor; the primary circuit is isolated from all other live circuits by reinforced insulation. Rated insulation voltage, primary to secondary: 300 V AC
