The 330850-90-00 is a Bently Nevada 3300 XL 25 mm Proximitor Sensor. The 3300 XL 25 mm probe is designed for maximum durability in the harshest turbine DE environments. It can operate continuously and maintain accuracy at temperatures up to 200 °C (392 °F) and withstand intermittent high temperatures up to 250 °C (482 °F). The 25 mm probe features sealing rings at both ends, and with the FluidLoc cable (standard on all 25 mm probes), which prevents moisture from entering the probe tip. Both the probe and extension cable come standard with special high-temperature ClickLoc connectors. Each probe and cable includes connector sleeves and a disposable connector sleeve installation tool to ensure the connectors are protected from contamination. The ClickLoc connectors on the probe leads feature removable retaining rings for easy cable routing in confined spaces. The 3300 XL 25 mm probe is available in various housing configurations and can physically replace all standard 7200 25 mm, 7200 35 mm, and 25 mm DE integrated sensor systems (including side-outlet and rear-outlet probes). The proximity sensor output is identical to that of the 7200 and 25 mm DE integrated systems, so customers can upgrade without changing their monitor configuration. When upgrading from an older system, all sensor system components (probe, extension cable, and proximity sensor) must be replaced with the 3300XL 25 mm assembly.
The 3300 XL 25 mm sensor system consists of a standalone 25 mm probe, an extension cable, and a 3300 XL 25 mm proximity sensor. An output of 0.787 V/mm (20 mV/mil) gives the system a linear range of 12.7 mm (500 mil). Based on this linear range, the 3300 XL 25 mm sensor system is suitable for measuring differential expansion (DE) in medium to large steam turbine generators caused by the difference in growth rates between the turbine rotor and the generator stator (casing). |
